Our Sustainability Initiatives
We are committed to operating to high ethical standards across our business’ and our supply chains. We have developed a strategy and plan to reduce our carbon footprint as a company. Working together we can make a difference.
Recognising that climate change poses a threat to the economy, nature and society-at-large, our company commits to take action immediately in order to:
-
100% renewable electricity across our operations by the end of 2023
-
Halve our greenhouse gas emissions before 2030
-
Achieve net zero emissions before 2050
-
Disclose our progress on a yearly basis
In doing so, we are proud to be recognised by the United Nations Race to Zero campaign, and to join governments, businesses, cities, regions, and universities around the world with the same missions.
To achieve this, we will address it through our ongoing commitment and plans towards:
Road Map to Net Zero
We commit to a 50% reduction in our baseline emissions by 2030. We are reducing our carbon emissions and progressing with our science-based targets, as approved by the Science Based Targets Initiative ("SBTi")
Carbon Emissions Management
We are committed to 100% renewable electricity and have made the switch. We are completing the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) assessments and will continue with annual assessments to continue our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and improving our environmental performance. Our score will be shared with our clients.
Environmental and Social Governance
Whereas CSR is our internal initiatives to fulfil our corporate purpose, our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives reflect the impact we have externally. The programmes compliment each other and are part of our broader sustainability strategy. We are committed to the annual assessment using the EcoVadis platform and to continually improving our ESG score.
Supplier Diversity
We are committed to integrating Supplier Diversity and Inclusion in our procurement process and establish and maintain excellent supplier relationships with Diverse Suppliers. We view supplier diversity as a strategic business advantage and our commitment to this mission reinforces our corporate values while visibly demonstrating our support for equal business opportunity.
