OPACE - COPD Trial

OPACE is a clinical trial funded by NIHR in collaboration with Addenbrookes hospital.

The OPACE trial aims to find out how best to use azithromycin in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

OPC UK is collaborating with Cambridge University NHS Foundation Trust to help with the recruitment of practices (as Patient Identification Centres – PICs) for the trial.

All PIC practices will receive full support from OPC to identify, invite and refer patients to the trial. No further practice involvement is required as all study visits are performed remotely and by a trial centralized team, NO practice or study site visits are required.
