About the Role
Optimum Patient Care has been supporting chronic disease management and research in primary care for over 12 years. An IT Infrastructure and Support Engineer is required to join our team providing 1st - 3rd line technical support to OPC and a wider network of International Research organisations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and to hit the ground running to be part of some huge projects working locally and Internationally from our office in Norwich.
Key Responsibilities:
Office 365 administration including Sharepoint, teams and calendars
60% project work such as cyber essential plus and Windows domain rebuild
40% support, manage the Jira support queue, providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support to the team
Purchase new IT equipment and licences
Set up new starters on Office 365 and other systems, configure new starter hardware
De-activate leavers accounts
Installation and troubleshooting VPN connections
Process IT Invoices to the Finance Department
Maintain IT asset register
Set up and configure windows AD security groups
Maintain a good understanding of windows networking
Must have own car, to allow travel between our other office in Norwich on occasion.
Additional desirable experience:
Firewall setup and troubleshooting.
Any Windows Server,Azure, SQL Server,Ubuntu Linux, web server exeperience.
AV setup configuration, remote management software, remote catalogue and monitoring etc
